It’s that (biannual) time of the year when Lord Greg Davies leaps out of his almighty bed and screams, ‘I’m ready!’ And boy is he ready.

Frankie Boyle, Ivo Graham, Jenny Eclair, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Mae Martin are the ones courageous enough to enter the crypt and task like they’ve never tasked before. Their eyes are firmly set on the only prize any comedian will ever need: A gilded effigy of the head Greg Davies apparently once had. The person who raises it victorious at the end of the series will be the one and only Taskmaster champion. Or, more accurately, the fifteenth one and only Taskmaster champion.

Greg’s self-appointed Admiral of Admin Little Alex Horne is there taking notes whatever the task. Be it locating spoons, cracking codes via jelly babies, fighting, pulping, faking, repurposing or even demonstrating the power of a single breath - Alex is there with a whistle, a clipboard and a pen, pretending it isn’t the 21st century.
